| A beautiful Edo period tsuba
with NTHK papers verifying it's authenticity. High relief work that is very much intact with very little wear. There is a very elaborate grass script poem on the reverse. The Haiku poem was written by Baishitsu (1769-1852), and it means "Various impressions are given to me every time the scenery of the season where the plum tree blooms is seen".
