WW2 Diplomat Sword

Excellent condition and very rare sword


This is a very rare Japanese Diplomats sword. It is in excellent condition withvery little gold loss. The braiding on the handle is very tight and perfect. The blade itself in in very good condition - near new actually.

According to "Japanese Military and Civil Swords and Dirks" by Fuller & Gregory, this sword is a very rare Senior Grade Chokunin (Appointment personally approved by the Emperor). Please see the two pages below the pictures for a complete desription from "Fuller and Gregory".
